 Teaches at Meadowood: Thurs & Sat Andy is an accomplished guitarist who plays electric, acoustic and classical styles as a solo performer and in ensemble. Andy has had formal instruction from youth through University. Andy recently completed dual degrees at Kutztown University: one in music education and one in music performance with guitar as a focus. Andy has played venues that include concert stages, bars & restaurants, focusing recently on playing in jazz ensembles. He is also at ease with Country, Rock, and other styles of music. Andy accepts beginning to advanced iplayers of all ages, teaching students to read music if they do not already. Andy is a flexible, yet thorough teacher who presents elements of music theory that help students to compose, figure out tunes and play by ear. Andy helps his students grow as players and all-around musicians. Meadowood is delighted to have Andy as one of its teachers. |
